Awake For Life

Life is a journey a given gift, and it’s up to each individual to make sure you’re not sleep walking through it and are only awakened because you have reached your final destination.

Everyone who is alive is on a journey, no one remains in a state of stagnation. Life is always moving forward whether one’s aware of it or not. It’s like when you take a trip that requires a plane to get to your destination, after the plane takes off it’s as though you’re not even moving. This is how life is and before it’s realized the journey is complete and you’ve reached your destination. During the journey if all you did was sleep you missed the entire trip, you cannot go back and recapture what was missed because you have already reached your destination.

When we reach the final destination of life, our journey is complete, if we are asleep, probably most of what occurs is missed. So we can either be awake for our journey or we can be asleep, but it will go on either way and once our destination is reached the trip is over. The key is to not be asleep for the journey so there’s awareness of what occurs during it before the destination is reached, at that time the trip (life) is over and the greatest misgiving of one’s life is realizing you have been asleep for most of it, unfortunately this is how far to many lives end up.

There will come a time when it’s realized the journey is now complete, but if we were asleep for it, there’s nothing that can be done to go back and redo what has passed. Don’t let this be your journey, with sleep walking results. We are given the gift of life, but it’s up to each individual to be awake for the journey so when we reach our final destination, in this form anyway, we’ll know nothing was missed and we’ll be able to say, what a ride.
