You can lie to yourself, but there will be consequences for this. There’s a reason why “To thine own self be true” should be adhered to and this is because consequences of truth are less detrimental to one’s well being.
I write articles that point to truth, and how they are taken by others are of little concern to me, but if they’re discounted before investigating whether they’re true or not, there will be consequences for this. Blame no one for the way your life is because upon further investigation you will see there’s no one to blame. Everyone does as their conditioning dictates and the consequences of this reflects in one’s life.
Reach outside yourself in a self serving manner and pay the price for the consequences of this action. Go inward to a place of stillness and although there are also consequences for this, they are much more beneficial than the self serving ones. Even though one may not be aware of these difference the consequences of one’s decisions will still occur and they will be the reflection of one’s life.
People aren’t truly responsible for what they do, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t consequences associated with what is done. Break the law, either spiritual or man’s and suffer the consequences, but here’s the kicker, there are consequences even if one doesn’t get caught. You can lie to everyone, even yourself, but that doesn’t mean there won’t be consequences for this. Investigate this for yourself, or not and remain a puppet to the consequences of your lying. You can run from yourself, but you can’t hide from yourself or from the consequences of one’s self serving actions.
