Hold on to whatever it is you think is needed, but before you know it, it’s tomorrow. Life goes on no matter what, any associated suffering occurs because of how tight the grip is on what is being held.
Whatever it is that happens in life, before you know it, it’s tomorrow and this is regardless of what happens. It doesn’t matter if what happens is pleasurable, tragic, or if one is indifferent to what happens, before you know it, it’s tomorrow. Here is a life per se: birth, pre school, grammar school, high school, dating, college and or a job, a mate, wedding, house, children, vacations, grand children, retirement, and death. There are happy times, some tough times and all the times that go on in between. Today, tomorrow, today, tomorrow on and on regardless of what happens. What happens arises and passes, arises, and passes, and before you know it, it’s tomorrow, that is until the day that it isn’t.
Tomorrow doesn’t come for everybody, but tomorrow itself always comes; it’s the circle of life. The thing about developing an understanding of this is it’s so freeing because regardless of what happens today one can always say “this too shall pass” because before you know, it’s tomorrow. Reflect on the past and try to grasp it, I mean literally try to hold it. You can’t because although it did occur, it only exist now in one’s mind. It’s not something that’s real except to the Conditioned Mind. It’s not to ignore what happens, but except in the mind it no longer exist.
Just look at all the things that have gone on since birth and how many mountains were self created because of the attachment to what was occurring. And just like that, all by itself they fell by the wayside and before you knew it, it was tomorrow. So what’s really worth getting upset over? Think of the worse thing that may have or can occur in your life and be with it in the capacity that you deem necessary, but understand regardless of what it is before you know it, it’s tomorrow, that is until the day that it isn’t. When this occurs there won’t be a need to be concerned about anything, because tomorrow never comes. So hold on to whatever it is that you deem is necessary, but regardless of what it is “this too shall pass” because before you know it, it’s tomorrow.
