One’s birthright is to experience the Universe’s unending love, but because of the way our conditioning takes hold this is blocked from being known so our own mind becomes our adversary.
We may not directly be the creator of our thoughts, but this is not to say that we don’t reinforce the ones that arise and allow them to occur again and again. But understand this isn’t something that can be wished to be changed and it will happen. Wishing things were different is not enough to make it occur. Our thoughts produce a realm in which a spiritual tug of war takes place and where this occurs is in our own mind. We wrestle, strive and struggle within our own mind against the world, its systems, the flesh and our carnal nature. Our mind encompasses thoughts, imagination, reasoning, and intellect, as well as feelings, emotions, and will; all of these are used to make up one’s individuality.
By our thoughts, feelings, and emotions which are attached to, we make up a personality and purpose for our lives. There’s really only one choice to be made in life, but it’s not the one most choose. The one choice is to love God with all our heart, but what is mostly chosen is to love the world with all our heart. When our choice is to love God, we live by truth and love; this is the only assurance of victory in each and every situation in life. If our choice isn’t to love God, we will flounder in the ignorance of the Conditioned Mind and the destruction that surrounds our world will occur on a daily basis.
It’s in this process that we encounter a very real spiritual tug-of-war with our thoughts, feelings, emotions and will, because our own mind has become our adversary. This is directly related to our Conditioned Mind and this blocks the means to receiving our birthright of God’s Love. Our Conditioned Mind as our adversary has the energy to weaken our birthright to love and keep us in the grip of the ego. It’s the Universe that protects us from this and allow us to be engulfed by its love; this is our birthright and only when we make our own mind our adversary will this be kept from us.
