To trust in the energy of God isn’t a fantasy made up in our head. It’s an understanding of Universal Love and aligning ourselves to trust that it’ll do what’s best for us, even if we have our doubts.
Trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not unto thy own understanding. This is one of the most difficult scriptures to put into practice because it involves letting go of control. Not that we’re really in control, but that is what a Conditioned Mind wants you to believe; that you are in control of happens in your life. To trust, is to accept, to accept is to let go of control, and to let go of control, is to be free. The difficulty in this is directly related to how conditioned one is to thinking you are in control of your life. The more control one thinks they have, the less control there actually is. But when you truly let go, that is when you have the most control.
Life is not something that can be controlled. It may feel as though you make things happen, but all you do is deal with the task at hand. One will either be aligned with life or not. Our entire existence is a result of this alignment, not in the results of our doing. We’re in control by being present, but even that is fleeting to a large degree, so probably the best we can do if we ever want to be free is to learn to the trust the energy of God.
Things are going to be as they are, whether one likes it or not. Life occurs without anyone’s permission, but there is a choice in how these occurrences are handled. Their results are in direct relation to either one’s trust in a power greater than themselves or one’s trust in their own power. One will either handle life occurrences on their own or with the guidance of God’s energy. It will be up to each individual in what’s trusted, but if one really thinks they can rely on their own power to deal with life occurrences, good luck with that and I think one will be in for a rude awakening.
