In the quietness of the Here and Now one is open to truth. This truth exposes the reality that even if the mystery of life was solved, it really wouldn’t change much in regards to what is happening right now.
The mystery of life will always be. We look for answers that can’t be found, at least by the limited view of one’s Conditioned Mind. We can make up answers that fit nicely into our conditioned world, but this doesn’t make life any less of a mystery, or any more fulfilling for that matter. We seem to think we feel better when we make up these answers, but this is only a product of our Conditioned Mind. I don’t know if the mystery of life is ever solved and truthfully I don’t think it matters. It really doesn’t make a difference if we know how we evolved or if we know what happens when we die. It doesn’t prevent anything from happening right now. It’s more of a benefit to learn how to solve the mystery of living in the Here and Now, but this can only occur when the mind is quiet.
Even in the presence of a quiet mind it’s not that the mystery of life is solved, its more so the concern of the mystery falls away. In quietness there’s no mystery because there’s quietness. There are so many things in life that may never be truly understood, but that’s not to say you can’t know truth. Knowing truth sets one free, but it doesn’t necessarily solve life’s mysteries. So Truth doesn’t allow you to know the mystery of life, but what it will do is allow for you to stop trying to constantly solve it. And once this occurs, you realize that whether the mystery of life is solved or not, it doesn’t really change much because what’s going to happen is going to happen, regardless if it was the chicken or the egg that came first.
