Investigate the Cause

Life can be endured with the hope that by some miracle it will be changed, or one can investigate why it’s the way it is and do what’s necessary to change whatever it is that makes it so.

Granted some times there are things that occur in life that seem unjust and they really may be. Some have so much and others have very little. There are wars going on all over the place and many innocent people get caught in the cross fire. So many people are angry. Some have been so hurt as children that it is a burden carried into adulthood. Drugs, alcohol and so many other things are reached for to mask the way one truly feels. The real tragedy in all this is for most people it doesn’t have to be this way, but it’s just not known how to go about changing it.

My writings are pointers in getting one to see how their view of life is only the way it is because it is the way they have been conditioned throughout their life. There is no other cause for most people for the way they react to life than this. Some have brains that may have certain chemical imbalances and they need to go to the appropriate places for assistance, but for most it all boils down this; one does the things that they do because of the way they were conditioned.

So what I’m saying is any reaction, any reaching, or negative attitude can be change if one investigates the cause of it. This is what I discovered and I am no different than anyone else, so it is within the grasp of mostly everyone, there is always the exception to any rule. There was much suffering in my life and one day I awoke to the fact it was because of one simple yet devastating cause, the delusion of I. Once this cause was discovered much of the suffering went away on its own. But it’s a moment by moment awareness of this cause that keeps the reactions, the reaching, and the negative attitude in check, until eventually the conditioning that causes this behavior in the first place is no more.
